About ME

Education has been the thread that has connected every stage of my professional journey. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working across India and New Zealand as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme educator, programme leader, curriculum specialist, and teacher trainer, supporting schools in creating learning environments where children, educators, and communities thrive.

My expertise lies in early childhood education, inquiry-based learning, curriculum design, assessment, instructional leadership, and professional learning. Throughout my career, I have worked with teachers, school leaders, parents, and young learners to develop educational experiences that are meaningful, research-informed, and centred on the holistic development of every child.

I believe that learning is most powerful when it nurtures curiosity, encourages reflection, and inspires purposeful action. This belief has shaped my work in designing inquiry-driven curricula, strengthening assessment practices, mentoring educators, leading school improvement initiatives, facilitating parent education programmes, and developing professional learning communities that promote collaboration and continuous growth.

One of the aspects of my work that I value most is helping educators see beyond curriculum documents and classroom routines. Through coaching, workshops, and sustained professional development programmes, I support teachers in building confidence, strengthening instructional practice, and creating classrooms where children’s questions become the starting point for authentic learning.

My leadership experience extends beyond classroom practice. I have designed and facilitated school-wide professional learning initiatives, including instructional rounds, collaborative inquiry, teacher book clubs, curriculum review processes, and evidence-informed improvement planning. These experiences have strengthened my belief that meaningful and sustainable change happens when schools cultivate reflective cultures rather than rely on isolated training sessions.

Alongside my work with educators, I have always been passionate about building strong partnerships with families. Over the years, I have conducted numerous parent workshops on early literacy, mathematical thinking, inquiry-based learning, transitions, and child development, helping parents become confident partners in their children’s learning journey.

Helping Schools Build Cultures Where Learning Truly Matters

The Heart of my Practise

Education has never been just a profession for me, it has always been a purpose.

I partner with schools to create learning environments where inquiry inspires deep thinking, assessment honours each child’s unique journey, and educators are empowered to lead with purpose and reflection. My hope is to contribute to learning communities where academic excellence is nurtured alongside character, wellbeing, and a genuine love for lifelong learning.

Over the years, I have come to believe that every child enters the world with immense potential, natural curiosity, and an inherent desire to learn. Learning should extend far beyond acquiring knowledge or achieving academic outcomes. It should invite children to question, explore, create, collaborate, reflect, and develop the confidence to embrace challenges with courage and curiosity. Meaningful experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, become the foundation upon which children build resilience, empathy, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

This belief shapes every aspect of my work.

Whether I am designing curriculum, mentoring teachers, facilitating professional development, working alongside school leaders, or engaging with families, I continually return to one fundamental question:

How can we create learning experiences that honour the uniqueness of every child?

No two children learn in exactly the same way. They bring different strengths, perspectives, interests, questions, and lived experiences into the classroom. For this reason, I believe education should never be driven by comparison or standardisation alone. Instead, it should recognise learner variability, celebrate individual growth, and create opportunities for every child to experience success in meaningful ways.

Creating such environments requires more than effective teaching strategies. It requires relationships built on trust, respect, empathy, and genuine listening.

Children learn best when they feel psychologically safe—when they know their ideas will be valued, their voices heard, and their mistakes viewed not as failures but as opportunities for growth. My classrooms and professional work are therefore grounded in creating spaces where curiosity is welcomed, questions are encouraged, and every learner feels a sense of belonging.

Inquiry lies at the centre of this philosophy.

I believe learning begins not with answers but with thoughtful questions. Children are naturally curious, and when educators take the time to notice their wonderings, listen to their theories, and build upon their interests, learning becomes authentic, engaging, and deeply meaningful. Inquiry transforms classrooms into communities where teachers and students learn alongside one another, continually discovering new ways of understanding the world.

If every child leaves school with curiosity that continues to ask questions, courage to embrace challenges, wisdom to think critically, compassion to care for others, and a deep sense of purpose, then education has fulfilled its highest calling.

That is the work I am committed to.

And that is the reason I continue to do what I do.
